Christmas Party

The Petchey family, some friends from church invited us to a Christmas celebration with other families in our town. It was fun to experience a dinner party hosted by our English friends. It was our children's first introduction to Christmas crackers - not the type that you eat, but the kind that you pop open that reveals a paper crown and a toy of some sort inside. We also did a nativity play with the kids. It was so fun to see the kids acting out one of the greatest scenes in history and helping us all to remember our Savior at this time of year. The pictures are from our phone and are terrible. Oops.

Whaaaat? you don't have Christmas crackers in America? We do them every year in Canada.
This year my little novelty item inside of mine was a wine corkscrew opener... :(
