Thanksgiving in Indiana

In the month of November before we left on our trip we made a thankful turkey to remind us of all that we have to be thankful for at this time of year.

The road trip was good. The kids looooved being able to watch movies for so many hours straight! After one stop we forgot to buckle Benji and got on the road and soon he was yelling out "buckle me! Buckle me!" It was really cute and I'm so glad he helped us out remembering there!

The first thing we did after we got there was to celebrate Ruby's 4th birthday! She is such a sweet spunky girl who brings a lot of fun and adventure into our family. We're so grateful she's ours!

She was so happy to finally be 4! Many of her friends had turned 4 in the previous weeks and she was so ready. She kept telling me about all the stuff that she could do once she was 4. Welcome to the 4 club Rue!

We made another things we are thankful for poster...I love hearing what the kids come up with to be thankful for!

These cousins had an absolute blast and got along really, really well. There weren't any big fights or squabbles, they just played and played and played some more. Ben was a little sad because the big kids were faster than he was and sometimes he couldn't keep up. At one point he came to me with a sad little face and told me "kids run." Sorry buddy, someday you'll be just as fast!

Mel and Jeff took us to a cool discovery kids science center. There were so many cool things to do there. We loved it!

 Rob's got hops :)

This pin-imager (? I have no idea what it's called) was a huge hit. The kids loved making impressions of themselves. It was so cool!

 Someone's got a hot head...looking at you, Rob! :)

Ben was not such a fan of this contraption so here, Rob picked him up and put him on it. I love how you can see his mad face and struggling so well. Haha!

 Mmmmm...Mexican food!
