Just a Few More Inches...

...and I'm so in trouble!
While I was getting the camera she had reached as far as her little body could and actually was touching the door knob! Do you like the semi-stink eye she's giving me for not letting her out?

Garden Sucess!

Our little salsa garden has actually grown and tastes delicious! After a little blossom end rot scare on the tomatoes, everything is growing great! We made salsa the other day...so good! It's just tomatoes, onions, cilantro, jalapenos and little salt. I am so glad that it actually grew!

Sick Baby

Grace has been sick the past few days. She just looked so sad sitting on the couch watching Little Einsteins.
The funniest thing about her being sick is when she can't help but dance when she hears music. It's this little half-hearted wiggle. So sweet!
There's a little smile :)

You May Kiss the Royal Forehead

So Gracers is learning to kiss. She can pucker her lips and make little kissy sounds. She'll even sweetly kiss her babies on their faces. I just love it! But, when Rob or I ask her to give us a kissy, she'll throw her forehead towards our lips so we can kiss the royal forehead. No sweet puckers for Mom or Dad, just head butts...that's our sweet little girl for you!

Family Pictures!

I won a photo session with Christine Olson on a favorite blog of mine Your Heart Out. Christine turned out to be married to Paul, who I used to drive to seminary. What a small world! She was so much fun and did a fantastic job! Here are some of my favorites.

Jalama Beach

Warning: This post has picture overload!

We had such a fun time with the Bunker family at the annual Jalama Beach camping trip. We had such a blast!

We started off with a little birthday party for Gracers.

And, of course some cake.

Baby girl loves to read! Thanks for all the awesome new books and toys, Grandma and Grandpa!

Getting pretty good at unwrapping presents. That's an important skill to have! :)

I must say I was a little jealous of all the cuddling Grace did with her Uncle Brian on the trip. She never cuddles with me like that. Although this time it may have been because of the delicious homemade ice cream he was feeding her...

What a life.

First time in the ocean. Like most things, she didn't like it a first, but after she warmed up to the idea we couldn't keep her away!
Gracie had a fun time playing in the water with Daddy and Uncle Bri.

And Dobby. They were just the right size to play with each other.

She made the funniest crawl-prints.

Long walks on the beach are one of the best Jalama traditions.

Though she liked walking better than riding.

Resting on the rock that tarred Grandpa's pants.
What a beautiful place and view for a bath!

How cute is my hubby? This was on our big pig adventure hike. Alas, the pigs foiled us again this year. Someday we will see those darn pigs!

Caveman Brian

Another Jalama tradition is a photography contest. This year I got in on the action. It was really fun to run outside with your camera like you were going to get the best shot ever to make Auntie Mur squeal. It's easy to take pictures when the scenery is so amazing! Here are a bunch of my entries:
Classic.

Don't you want to just eat her up, she's so cute!
The "Oooo" Face. She's gotten really good at making it. It's probably my favorite face she makes.

We had such a fun time at Jalama with my family and my cousins. Thanks everyone, for another great Jalama year!
