April

So. Much. Catching up to do. Without further ado....April!

Our house was long overdue for a paint job. We thought it would spruce things up to change the color, so we tested some darker trims and did mock up after mock up and talked and talked and talked until we were dizzy about how we should paint...

We decided on dark, then second guessed ourselves the whole way!

And in the end we were (and still are!) so happy with it. I think it feels a bit more grounded. We also plan to add some dark shutters to tie in the paint color more. My favorite part though, is the light blue door. It brightens up the space so much and makes me happy :)

Ruby writing some music

Selfies, hahahahaha!

We also enjoyed some spectacularly beautiful nights hanging out in the hammock in the back yard.

We had a pretty crazy hail storm

I'm pretty sure there isn't anything better than a Spring garden. It makes my heart so happy!

Carters + Carters ruling the halls at church

We had a fun ward campfire

The girls realized that they had the same outfit as their friend and sported it on the same day

BFFs 4 eva

Benji doesn't love being caught finding snacks in the pantry, haha!

My parents moved in 100 steps from our house across the greenway. It was awesome! But first, we had to take down all the dark curtains...Ben was a super ladder helper ;)

It was pouring on the actual moving day!
Dad's ingenious door-holding mechanism...what else do you use your 2 axes for? :)

Grae had a day where they were supposed to dress up at school like what they want to be when they grow up. Grace was a Parisian fashion designer.

She also had 2 pieces of art chosen for the school district Art Fair. Go Grace!!!!

First tooth lost!

Fun with friends getting ice cream

We also had fun playing in the back yard when it started to warm up

More fun in the sun! You have to get it all in before it gets too hot!

The girls and I saw a local production of Junie B Jones

Another tooth bites the dust!

Ruby and Malia can create just about anything out of paper. Here they have created their own pets and beds with bedding and other essentials for their pets.

Grace's beanie boo art. She is getting really good!
