Lots of Changes

There are lots of changes happening in our little family recently.

First, Rob got a full-time job with the Church. He has been hired as the Associate Program Manager of the Talent Management and Capability Division of the Human Resources Department. We are really excited and he is getting tons of great experience!

Second, baby Grace was due July 6. Notice I'm using the past tense. That date was last Sunday, it is now Thursday...day 4 overdue. We're getting incredibly anxious to meet our little bundle of joy, but she's not going to come until she wants apparently. As you can see, my belly just keeps on growing!

Third, because of Rob's position in downtown Salt Lake, we will be moving to Salt Lake next weekend right after the baby is born. It will be quite the adventure! We just got an apartment in the Avenues in downtown. We feel very blessed to have found an apartment so close to Rob's work that we could afford. It will be great for Rob to cut down his commute time from 3 hours a day to 10 minutes! We'll update later with photos and highlights of the apartment...it's older and has some awesome features! :)

Hallelujah!! I've been waiting to hear if you had and your baby and I CANNOT believe you haven't! You are probably dying... Eat something spicy, walk up a lot of stairs, go on a bumpy car ride, or....I can't think of any other things that might possibly induce labor. Are you still working then? We miss you guys and wish you weren't moving so soon! Maybe we'll make a trip up to Salt Lake this fall and we can hang out. That's awesome about your apartment. I can't wait to see pics!! I'll send good vibes your way so that maybe you'll go into labor!

I am so happy to see a Carter family blog. It brings me great joy to know that we can keep tabs on you when we are in Texas. Do you think we could play Ticket To Ride over Skype? Maybe it would work if you also had it...looking at cards would be difficult for you if we were the only ones with cards. We'll have to try sometime. :)

Wow!! You're so big (but cute, of course)! I wish i could see you in person. Good luck with the induction. I can't wait to see your little baby.
