One weekend we visited the Natural History Museum. That place is incredible, both in the sheer amount of animals and fossils and exhibits, but the architecture is stunning too!
I love these monkeys creeping up the arch. Such a fun detail!
After the Museum, we headed over to the Hyde Park Chapel down the road. It has a visitors center and is a really nice display.
Afterwards we went to the "log playground" on Southbank, always a hit.
So proud of her tower creation!
Sometimes these girls just melt my heart with sweetness like this moment holding hands while walking down a beautiful river path!
Kew Gardens was bursting with new life
When we went to Scotland with the Carters and Martins our trains were really late. If your train is more than 30 minutes late, then you're entitled to receive some of your fare back in voucher format. We didn't realize at the time that you were supposed to keep your original ticket to get your vouchers and we hadn't, but Rob contacted them and sent in the few that we had and we were hoping for something back so we were thrilled when we received the vouchers in the mail for half back from all the tickets. Here Rob is with them and his happy face :)
We finally bought Benji some rain boots and he loves them! There is nothing that boy likes to do more than splash in puddles with his boots on! He wants to wear them every day. Every time I get him up from his nap he runs and gets his boots and makes me put them on him, then runs to the door and says "GO!!"
Tattoo artist?
We got to see Much Ado About Nothing at the Globe a few weeks back. It was so fun and a fantastic production. It felt more like a concert than a formal play with lots of audience interaction. The view below is from our seats - waaaay over on the side/back of the stage because we got tickets late, but still so worth it! It was probably one of my favorite things so far!
Must...fit...into...small...box....
Little buddy loves to wear my heels. At least they're getting some use because with the trek to church every week I certainly haven't been wearing them :)
The crazy squirrels in our garden have been making a flying leap to the bird feeder to eat the bird's nuts. It's crazy to watch and fun to scare them away.
Ruby showing me a creation of hers and demanding that I photograph it :)
Ben can get just about anything he wants off the counters by pushing something up to them that he can stand on. He is constantly making messes!
Ruby has grown up a lot in the past few weeks and is now really loving and much less likely to throw a tantrum. It makes me so happy when she tells me that she loves me because that is a new thing for her!
Benji loves to scooter any chance he can get. It's not very often though because he's not quite fast enough to keep up with sisters.
Having been inspired by the intertwined initials of the British Royalty, Rob and I came up with one for us. Grace saw mine and quickly figured out her own. She's a smart and creative cookie!
My half-finished one I started on the train. As you can see by the wiggly line, the train was rocking and it was too difficult to finish :)
