Carters and Martins Visit {Day 9}

 We had a fairly uneventful train ride home enjoying the scenic east coast of England. Gosh, this is a beautiful country!

 This little guy may seem like an angel, but sometimes he's a troublemaker. We sat in the handicap seats on the train so the buggy could be up and Ben could sleep in it, which worked out great. What did not work out great were the huge red buttons (that scream "PUSH ME!!!" to toddlers) for emergency use by handicapped persons that sounded and alarm throughout the whole train until the conductor came back to turn it off. Sadly, the people next to us set theirs off twice early on, then Ben set ours off two more times. The conductor thought that we had done it all the times and threatened to make us move if he did it again. Good thing we were pulling into the station as he made his final threat. I felt bad, but the gigantic buttons with no covers are kinda dumb!

 We had to change trains at Kings Cross Station of the famed Harry Potter glory. We even got a peek at Platform 9 3/4! :)

 We made it home utterly exhausted from a week of non-stop touring, but so happy. It was a fantastic trip!

On Monday we had to say our sad goodbyes, but only for 4 months. (4 months! I can't believe we're already half-way through our time here!)
