We started off the day at Shakespeare's Globe where we had a lovely tour until Benji was tired and had enough so I had to take him out to put him to sleep.
There I am sitting at the bottom with sleeping Benji during the tour.
Ruby!
It's always an adventure with the buggy on the escalators in the tube stations! At least they're better than stairs.
We were in a crowded carriage on the tube and Cary and I were with the girls at one set of doors and Kim, Dave and Annette were down a bit at the next set. At our stop, Cary and the kids and I hopped off, but didn't see anyone else and the doors were closing. Superman Dave pried the doors open and hopped out, then pried them open again for Annette and Kim to hop out. I really don't know how he did it because when the tube's ready to take off, it does! So here he is flexing his door-prying muscles :)
Ruby may have thrown a few fits. Thankfully they were few and far between. Poor girl didn't get enough sleep with all the excitement going on!
I love that London reminds all of us non-British walkers that we need to look the opposite way of what we're used to as we step off the curb. I wonder how many accidents happened before they started doing this?
Grace and Annette loved the chocolate room at Harrods :)
That night we saw Matilda. It was awesome!
Afterwards we went out for waffles and crepes, a fun end to a fun day!
