Wednesday we spent a delightful day at Windsor Castle.
We got there just in time to see the changing of the guards. It was really cool, if somewhat long and full of pomp.
The band played the whole time and the kids loved it. They were all so cute clapping along.
After it was over, we went in search of a bite of lunch and McDonald's is always a crowd pleaser. It was so cute with the guards inside, so of course we did photo ops!
With full bellies we hiked back up to the castle for a proper tour. I love this place, it is so pretty and full of history and so neat because it's still in use today.
I love the gargoyle details in the stone work.
After a relaxing train ride home, we walked around Richmond to show the fam our sweet little town. We love this place!
