Last Friday we went to see Christmas at Kew at Kew Gardens, the estate of Kew Palace. We're currently living in Kew, so it was just a short walk and it topped many Christmas To-Do's lists. There was a cute Christmas village at the beginning with a huge slide the girls rode down together. You could hear them screaming the whole way down!
Sadly, the actual part that we'd paid for was less than spectacular and utterly lacking anything Christmassy.
Saturday morning we headed out to explore some more. We hit up Covent Garden to check out the Christmas decor and shops. It was a little nuts, so we didn't stay long.
I love these next two pictures in the interest of keeping it real. This is often what it looks like when we tell all the kids to pile into the stroller. Haha.
This snowglobe is filled with a miniature London built entirely of Legos. It was so awesome!
We also stopped by Westminster Abbey
And here is the picture I've been wanting to get...Little Ben with Big Ben :)
I feel so lucky to be able to have this experience. As we were walking down the street I just kept thinking "we live here! We actually live here!" We love it!

I love, love, love, LOVE all your postings and am so glad you're blogging about your adventures. I'm also a little jealous. What a great experience! And if, by some crazy fluke, you fall in love with London weather...I've got just the place for you to move when your internship is done!
