Enjoying throwing rocks at the river at the nursery while Mom finds more plants for the garden :)
The ward Easter egg hunt. Too bad the weather got cold that day just in time for the picnic.
Start your engines!
Everyone enjoyed the spoils. Ben is less picky about the candy he likes so he got a lot of leftovers :)
Our first garden harvest. Veeeeeeery small strawberries and green onions.
Our friends, the Hamiltons, invited us over for another egg hunt and an amazing Easter dinner.
These girls are so funny together. Here they were enjoying a picnic lunch outside. I think Benji chose to be at the other table because there was no space with left with all the girls' stuff they had to have with them.
I got a free hammock stand from someone in the neighborhood and the kids have loved playing in it!
Ruby and Heartless, her hobby horse she made from a Kiwi Crate we got. We sure do love those things!
"Mom! Take a picture of my cars!"
Monkey!
One Joy School I taught had to do with imagination and creativity. Here they are using their imaginations to come up with pictures from random colored shapes. The kids were so funny and cute telling me about them.
Little kitty Ruby. This girl can make anything out of paper. I happened to be in the craft room sewing while she was working on her
kitty, so she asked me to help her make a fabric kitty outfit. She had
all the ideas of exactly how she wanted it and all I did was sew it for
her. We forgot the ears in this picture!
Grace and her friend Samantha sang "Call Me Maybe" in the school talent
show, so they got together to practice a few times. Here they are
getting lots done...not! I guess it was too fun to dog pile on the coffee table?! haha
The Joy School kids worked together to make this lovely mural in their creativity unit:
Here Ruby is writing a song. She stapled a bunch of papers together so she could write songs in her book.
I have the sweetest kids! Whenever we walk to get Grace, Ben runs to give her a huge hug as soon as he sees her come out of the building. Ruby joined in on the fun this day too. I love that they love each other so much!
