March

 More snowy fun!

The poor snowman melted too fast and lost half of his face!

I got a kindle and Grace loves to snuggle in my bed and read it :)

My favorite sign that was hanging upstairs for a while

Rob's parents came for a visit and the girls slept in the toy room. Sure does look comfortable right? :)

While Rob's parents were here they offered to help us with a project or two...I got the hankering to re-do our front flower beds. So we got the van out to pull those bushes out ghetto-style :)

Before on the right side of the front porch:

Then we headed to the nursery to fill in all the beautiful empty space.

We stopped for a break that evening for a fun weenie roast with grandpa and grandma.

I am so, so happy to have it look so much better and can't wait for the plants to grow and fill in! I am also so grateful for the help we got with the labor and planning from Dave, Annette and Leslie (from afar).

This cute boy loves to help me in the kitchen. And he loves to help me taste everything as we go :) He's his mama's son!

February

It's been a long time coming, but here it is :)

She doesn't look too thrilled about Ben's feet near her face, even asleep :)

We went on a walk for Joy School one day and the kids were waving to the trash man who pulled up and let the kids climb in the cab (which was surprisingly clean!) and honk the horn. He even had candy for them!

The weather on Valentine's Day was spectacular. We had a weenie roast with our friends the Leiningers and had a great evening.

Joy School fun

Grace keeps losing teeth!

Soon after our fabulous V-day weather, it snowed. The kids had a great time playing in it and I had a great time watching the cars sliding all over the freeways on the news :). We had a pretty long cold snap for Dallas and it was snowy or icy for about a week.

I found this on my pillow one night. I am lucky to have such sweet kids!

Ruby loves the parmesan packets at Costco...ew.

January

V is for victory. Rob and Dad beat us so badly over and over and over again in hand and foot. I finally stopped playing because it was so pathetic. So we changed to other games, but it was a sweet run for the boys there...

We bought a piano off Craigslist...so exciting! Grace is loving learning simple songs and the other kids love to play it and so do I!

While I wasn't feeling great, we worked on some puzzles. Each one we thought wouldn't be as hard as the last, but it was! 1,000 piece puzzles are no joke!

We were sad to say goodbye (at 4:30 am!) to my parents. They were such an amazing blessing to have around to help me out while I was feeling yucky!

And it wasn't very long after they left that my sink that had been clean for the past month (thanks to them!) looked like this again... :(

It was even warm enough a few days to play outside and enjoy the sun!

We finally got to meet with the midwife and see the little munchkin, so we announced to the world that we were adding two more feet to our family...
And we found out that Rob's sister is expecting right around the same time!

 House-fixing man!

Sweet snuggling kiddos. Benji has recently been climbing into bed with Grace recently. Somehow he always ends up in the better sleeping position. It melts my heart that the kids love to be with each other so much!

And that, friends was January!

Ruby's Joy School - Fall

Ruby has had so much fun with Joy School this year. Malia, Zach, Addison, and Lincoln are all her classmates and they have all sorts of fun. See?

The Christmas program was especially sweet. They sang us some songs then acted out the Nativity. I just adore all of these kids and their moms!
