Ben at 6 Months

Benji is 6 months old! He is in the 99th percentile for his height and 85th for his weight and head circumference. By his 6 month check-up, he hadn't rolled over despite the rolling intensive course I put him through in the week leading up to his appointment :). Of course, now that the appointment is done he's a pro at rolling from his back to his front, but won't roll back to his back which is a problem because if he's lying down he'll roll to his stomach, but he hates to be on or sleep on his stomach, so he yells for someone to come roll him back over, only to do it again in seconds. I'm hoping he'll figure out how to get off his belly here soon! I partially blame his lack of rolling skills on his sweet sisters who won't leave his alone and if he's on the ground will lay on him or pick him up. After getting after Grace for picking him up for the umpteenth and not letting him try to figure out how to roll on his own, she replied "I can't leave him alone! He's just too cute!!!" Well, you got me there, Grace! :)

Snuggling on a Saturday so Mom could get something done.

He also had solids for the first time recently and loved them! It's amazing how easy it is to feed an older baby solids for the first time. I was expecting a total fail, but he put it away with very little coming back out.

He also got his first haircut, he had a surprising amount of hair we trimmed off!
